Annual Rare & Unique Native Plant Auction

We are hosting our 12th Annual RARE & UNIQUE NATIVE PLANT AUCTION at Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach on Tuesday, May 16, from 7 to 9:30 pm.

Rufino Osorio, author of A Gardener's Guide to Florida's Native Plants, will share his extensive knowledge and educate potential bidders about the plants in the Live Auction.

This year's Live Auction is "GOING NATIVE! - Harmonious Habitats" and is focused on community. The 75+ plants are grouped by 5 habitats: Pineywoods, Scrub-a-dub, Going Coastal, Hammock Time and Wet & Wild.  Some plants will be auctioned as groupings, and some as individuals - something for everyone! There are many hard-to-find plants, endangered plants, fascinating ferns, host & nectar plants and much more...

The Silent Auction is as exciting as the Live Auction! There will be many wonderful native plants, some common and some rare, and you might also find garden books, posters, butterfly earrings, plant art, wine basket, pottery, gardening tools, memberships to Mounts and JD MacArthur State Park and much more!

As always, there's no bidder's fee, admission is free, and we accept cash or checks. And there's refreshments!

** FOR PBCC FNPS MEMBERS:  If you are bringing items for the silent auction, please let us know what you are bringing! Use this link: SILENT AUCTION 2017

** ALSO: Please download the bid sheet and fill it out, with the item name, a description, your name and the minimum bid. Plant names are important, botanical if you know them, so we can properly introduce the plant to the potential bidders. The fuller the information you write about your plant, the more bidders there will be! Your item will be assigned a lot number by the silent auction team once all the items are in place. Bringing your items to Mounts before 6:15 pm will help us to be ready on time!
